Police: Man bit off woman's thumb

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Virginia Beach man is accused of biting off a woman’s thumb during an argument on Nov 28.
Debbie George with the City of Suffolk told WAVY.com police responded to a report of a domestic incident around 9:45 p.m. The location of the assault was not released.
According to police, Reggie Britt, 55, and the victim were involved in an argument when Britt bit off her right thumb. She was transported to Sentara Obici Hospital and her status is unknown.
Britt was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
