NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso outside of a convenience store in Newport News.
According to Harold Eley with the Newport News Police Department, police were dispatched to the RGN Outlet store at 1802 Jefferson Ave. shortly after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medics and has been identified as 25-year-old Devoris Thomas Dickerson of Newport News.
Eley said the investigation is ongoing and this time. Police do not have any suspect information, though detectives are interviewing several people at the scene.
