NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a man is now in custody after allegedly throwing a water bottle at woman while driving more than two years ago.
Newport News police say a woman driving on Interstate 64 close to Ft. Eustis was struck with a water bottle on April 18, 2010. The woman then followed the suspect's car to Hampton where police stopped the suspect and got incident information.
Wesley T. Hewlett, 42, was served with a warrant Tuesday, Dec. 11.
