SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a man is wanted for stealing lottery tickets worth more than $1,000 last month in Suffolk.
According to Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk, the suspect, a black male, entered a convenience store in the 6000 block of Godwin Boulevard just before 2 a.m. Nov. 22 and removed an entire row of lottery tickets from behind the counter.
The tickets ranged in price from $2 to $20 per ticket.
Klink says another suspect, a white male, cashed the tickets at a Newport News convenience store later that morning.
The man was wearing a blue zip-up hoodie, jeans and black shoes.
