CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a suspect arrested following a Monday evening shooting in Chesapeake is a person of interest in other investigations.
According to Dorienne Boykin with the Chesapeake Police Department, police responded to a shooting victim near the intersection of Portlock Road and Bainbridge Boulevard Monday at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The victim, a 27-year-old man, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Boykin says the victim knew the suspect, who was arrested at the intersection of Holly Road and Bainbridge Boulevard shortly after the incident.
Keith Fuller, 27, has been charged with malicious wounding.
