VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are searching for those responsible for a shooting at an apartment complex early Thursday morning.
Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department told WAVY.com the shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the 4700 block of Broad Street at the Pembroke Apartments.
During a large party inside the clubhouse at the complex, two separate groups became involved in an altercation. That altercation then went outside, where an unknown suspect began firing several shots.
Moyers said one person suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
The suspect is described as a black male approximately 19-years-old. No clothing description was available.
