ODU student robbed near campus

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk police are investigating a robbery near Old Dominion University at around 9 a.m.

A student walking near Bluestone Avenue was approached by three suspects, one of which was armed, Norfolk Public Information Officer Chris Amos told WAVY.com.

Amos said the student was robbed of his cell phone, wallet and backpack. He was not hurt.

Police say the suspects were seen getting out of a white Ford Explorer.
