SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - Deputies report $9,500 worth of tools were stolen from a construction trailer in Southampton County earlier this month.
According to Gene Drewery with the Southampton Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a burglary Jan. 12 at approximately 8 a.m. at a construction trailer near General Thomas Highway and Shady Brook Trail.
Drewery said the burglary was discovered by crews who were arriving to work.
