DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) - A North Carolina man charged for threatening persons at a Dare County school Wednesday is facing additional charges for  cyber stalking and malicious burning charges.

According to Steve Hoggard with the Dare County Sheriff's Office, Cape Hatteras Secondary Schools resource officer was tipped off Feb. 11 about threats made against several persons at the school.

Stefan Schwartz, 26, was arrested Feb. 20 for making a false report that a mass violence is going to occur on property, injury to personal property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Schwartz is facing additional charges for allegedly breaking into Buxton Alternative School in August 2009 and setting a small fire.

He was also charged with cyber stalking regarding an incident in early 2013.

Schwartz is behind bars with a $30,000 bond.
