CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake Police are investigating a robbery at a pizza restaurant Tuesday night.
According to Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department, the robbery occurred at 10:20 p.m. at the Papa John’s located at 4221 Indian River Rd.
A black male suspect entered the restaurant armed with a handgun and stole money from the cash register. He fled on foot through the back of the restaurant.
The suspect was described as standing 5’6” with a slim build. He was wearking black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black mask at the time of the robbery.
