VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a man wanted for stealing a register from a salon could be connected to a series of other business burglaries.

According to Jimmy Barnes with the Virginia Beach Police Department, the suspect broke into the Great Clips store in the 4500 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard March 3. The man ripped the computer register off the counter and left.

That same evening, Barnes said several other business in that area of the beach were burglarized.
