Man pleads guilty in Mo Money scandal

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WAVY) - A Tennessee man pleaded guilty Tuesday to helping file false tax returns at the St. Louis Mo Money office.

According to John Nunez with the IRS, John Buford will be sentenced May 30 and faces up to five years in prison and/or a more than $350,000 fine.

Buford was indicted alongside five other people involved in the Mo Money franchise.
