Man indicted on child porn charges

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a 36-year-old Portsmouth man was indicted last weekend on child porn possession charges.
According to Newport News police, officers started looking into claims of sexual offenses in the 500 block of 13th Street in Newport News last July.
Following an investigation by the Special Victim's Unit, Thaddeus Lamont Williams was indicted March 16 on four counts of knowingly possessing child pornography.
Police during the investigation, it was found Williams had images of a 15-year-old girl on his cell phone.
