Man arrested for bomb, death threats

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Following a domestic situation, police say a man has been arrested for strangling a woman and threatening to burn her home.

According to Lou Thurston with the Newport News Police Department, the victim contacted police Nov. 21 and said between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Nov. 14, she was strangled to the point that she couldn't breathe following a domestic situation in the 600 block of Kelso Drive.

The victim said the suspect then left, but returned again later and threatened to burn down her home. Thurston says the victim then left her home.

Theodore Conrad Outlaw was arrested Nov. 21 and charged with strangling the victim and making thrreats to burn down a residence.
