YORKTOWN, Va. (WAVY) - Last week, in less than a one mile stretch, Yorktown officials say nearly 31 mailboxes, homes and cars were damaged in a vandalism spree.

A spokesperson for the department said about 16-20 mailboxes and some residences were damaged in the 100 block of Colberts Trace and in the 400 - 500 blocks of Old Wormley Creek Road in Yorktown on July 8.

On that same day, about a half a mile away on Bolivar Drive, 11 more mailboxes and some vehicles were damaged.

Officials are asking for your help in finding the person(s) responsible. If you can help, call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
