NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk Police are asking for help finding a man who didn’t show up to begin his prison sentence.

Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department said officers were searching for Ronneil Battle, 30, of Norfolk. Battle was convicted of armed carjacking and did not show up to prison.

Battle is described as a thinly built black male standing 5’10 and weighing 160 pounds. He has dreadlocks, a beard and a moustache.

He is known to frequent Tanner’s Creek, Norview and Coleman Place. Battle should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information should call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or the Norfolk Police Robbery Squad at 757-6647-7032.
