BOYKINS, Va. (WAVY) - Deputies are asking for the public’s help in solving a burglary at a business in Boykins.
Maj. Gene Drewery with the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a call of a burglary at Boykins Service Center located on Beaton Avenue at 8 a.m. Saturday.
An investigation revealed the suspect(s) entered the business from an auto repair shop connected to the same building and stole cigarettes, cigars, candy, drinks and over the counter medications. Drewery said there was extensive damage inside and outside the business.
