EASTERN SHORE, Va. (WAVY) - State Police are investigating another fire at an abandoned structure on the Eastern Shore and say it appears to be arson.

Sgt. Michelle Anaya with the Virginia State Police said the latest fire sparked around 1:30 a.m. in the 28500 block of Saxis Road in Temperanceville. A two-story residential building burned to the ground.

No one was injured.

Anaya said the fire appears to be arson and is still under investigation. More than 60 arsons have been set on the Eastern Shore since November and investigators believe a group of people are working together.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police. A $25,000 reward is available for any information leading to an arrest and conviction.
