NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police say an arrest has been made in connection with the 2008 shooting death of Brian Morris.

Morris was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene on the 3800 block of Pleasant Avenye just before midnight April 15, 2008.

According to Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department, 25-year-old Bernell William Ford was indicted on murder charges Feb. 6 in connection with Morris' death.

Amos said the motive is not being released, but Morris and Ford knew each other.

Ford was already behind bars at the Virginia Beach City Jail on unrelated charges.
