NEW YORK (AP) - Investors are hoping this will be the week Wall Street ends its losing trend. Last week was its fourth straight losing week.
The stock market had a fractious Friday fueled by a Labor Department report showed jobless rate that fell to 9.7 percent in January, offering some hope of improvement in the jobs market.
But investors also feared the massive debts of several weak European governments. The Dow closed up 10.
