Anyone remember the "Circus Blizzard of 1980"? If you're new to Hampton Roads you may not. The videos above show the almost 42 inches of snow that covered Hampton Roads for about four days, just as the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus was in town -- hence the name "Circus Blizzard of 1980".

Norfolk got up to 14 inches of snow, Williamsburg saw as much as 16 inches and the storm dumped up to 25 inches of snow on Elizabeth City, NC.

Watch the videos above and you'll see the Hampton Roads area brought to a standstill as winter weather took its toll on the area.

Clean up cost more than $4 million.
