VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Spc. Christopher D. McCarthy, 28 of Virginia Beach, died June 1, 2008, at Forward Operating Base in Ramadi, Iraq.
He served active duty in the Army with the U.S. Joint Forces Command, Joint Reserve Unit based in Norfolk, Va.
