Suspected serial robber strikes again

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A man armed with a handgun robbed a Walgreens in Virginia Beach around noon Sunday.

Virginia Beach Police said a man entered the store at 5501 Wesleyan Drive. He approached the cashier with a handgun and demanded money. The cashier handed over an undetermined amount of cash, and the suspect fled the store.

Police said the same man also robbed several other stores in both Norfolk and Virginia Beach.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male, 25 to 26 years old, 5'8" to 5'9", 170lb to 180lb, with clean-cut, golden brown hair. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, a dark green or dark black Polo shirt, black tennis shoes and black sunglasses. He was also wearing a multi-colored ball cap turned backwards.
