Former Ports. officer indicted

    Former Portsmouth Police Officer Paul Alonzo Ewing was indicted by a grand jury Thursday on five counts of Indecent Liberties with a Minor and five counts of Producing Child Pornography.

    The charges stem from an ongoing investigation conducted by the Portsmouth Police Department.

    Ewing also faces rape charges from an incident involving a 16-year-old girl back in January of '07.

    Ewing was hired November 1, 2004 and resigned on October 9, 2008.
