WAVY.com - Those Christmas toys for your children may contain hidden dangers.
A Justgreen partnership survey shows that of more than 1,500 toys tested this year, one in three contained medium to high levels of lead, cadmium, arsenic and other chemicals.
Lead was found in 20 percent of the toys with some far exceeding the legal standard.
The most contaminated category was children's jewelry.
The Justgreen partnership is a coalition of children's safety, public health and environmental groups.
