Children's Museum to relocate

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - A popular children's museum in Portsmouth will relocate in preparation for a renovation and expansion project.

The Children's Museum of Virginia, located at 221 High Street in Portsmouth will close to the public at the end of the day on Monday, September 7.

Beginning on Saturday, October 17, the museum will relocate to "Andolo's Clubhouse," located at 420 High Street. That's next door to Courthouse Galleries.

The expansion project will take 16 months to complete.
