USS Eisenhower aids in rescue

MEDITERRANEAN SEA (WAVY) - USS Dwight D. Eisenhower assisted in a search and rescue in the Mediterranean sea during a coalition training session.
The crew received calls of a downed French aircraft carrier. A helicopter was dispatched from USS Eisenhower to provide assistance.
The French pilot was retrieved and transported for medical treatment.
