PCU Arlington arrives in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Amphibious transport dock ship PCU  Arlington (LPD 24) arrived at her homeport of Norfolk Friday.

The ceremony was held March 22 at noon. WAVY News 10's Art Kohn attended the event. 

The actual commissioning will be held April 6 at Naval Station Norfolk.

Arlington honors the First Responders and 184 victims who died when the Pentagon was attacked on Sept. 11th.

Those in attendance included the ship's Commanding Officer Cmdr. Darren Nelson, Capt. Kevin Reardon representing first responders and first responders themselves.
