Sea and shore Sailors of the Year named

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Two sailors were selected from 10 candidates serving in the sea and shore components of Naval Air Force Atlantic.

Christopher Anderson, is assigned to a Strike Fighter Squadron at NAS Oceana joined the Navy in 1999. Anderson was named the shore sailor of the year and Cheyenne Shasky was named the sea sailor of the year.

Shasky serves aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt in Norfolk. She also enlisted in the Navy in 1999.

Both Shasky and Anderson will move on to the selection for Sailors of the Year for U.S. Fleet Forces Command.
