NORFOLK, Va. - The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) honored fallen US military personnel and the civilian casualties of war Wednesday with its traveling exhibition 'Eyes Wide Open: The Cost of War to Virginia.'

Weather moved the one-day exhibit from Town Point Park to under the covered pavilion at Nauticus.

The exhibit includes over 125 pairs of boots representing fallen servicemen and women from Virginia, and a visual representation of the Iraqi civilian casualties. The exhibit is part of AFSC's national Eyes Wide Open: The Human Cost of War network.

The American Friends Service Committee is a Quaker Organization that includes people of various faiths who are committed to social justice, peace, and humanitarian service.
