LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. - Due to coastal flooding, the 1st Fighter Wing commander
announced Wednesday evening that the King Street and Armistead
gates into Langley Air Force Base will be closed in the early
morning hours Thursday. Access will be limited through the LaSalle
Avenue and NASA gates.
As determined by squadron commanders, only key and essential
personnel will report to work Thursday. The Langley Child
Development Center and Youth Center will be closed – Service
members will need to plan accordingly.
