Due to coastal flooding, the 1st Fighter Wing commander announced Wednesday evening that the King Street and Armistead gates into Langley Air Force Base will be closed in the early morning hours Thursday. Access will be limited through the LaSalle Avenue and NASA gates.
As determined by squadron commanders, only key and essential personnel will report to work Thursday. The Langley Child Development Center and Youth Center will be closed – Service members will need to plan accordingly.
