NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The Virginia Zoo in Norfolk has a fun-filled day planned to honor Military heroes and their families.
"Military Appreciation Day at the Zoo", an annual event, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Military members and their families will receive free admission.
The USO-sponsored event is part of the 2012 Fleet Week activities.
