NORFOLK, Va. - Three locally based Navy SEALs face charges for allegedly punching a terror suspect five years ago.
The claims come from Ahmed Hashim Abed, the man thought to be behind the 2004 killings of four U-S contractors in Fallujah, Iraq.
The military identified the accused SEALs as Petty Officer First Class Matthew McCabe, Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe and Petty Officer Julio Heurtas.
All three men face the equivilant of misdemeanors.
WAVY.com was told they will make their first apperance before a military judge on December 7th. A court-martial is set for January.
