Langley commissary offers free breakfast

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. - The Langley Commissary offered free breakfasts for active duty servicemembers, retirees and their families Friday morning from 7 to 10 a.m.

The free breakfast was the grand prize won by the Langley Commissary in a competition sponsored by the J.M. Smuckers Company.

Breakfast was served in the parking area across from the Commissary parking lot.

Langley's Commissary won the "Mission: Breakfast" contest by creating the most original Smucker product display. Entitled "Start Your Day Right Side Up with Smucker's", the Langley display featured a family breakfast setting affixed upside-down on the ceiling of the commissary. Langley's display was judged best of 63 entries for being the most creative.

Entertainment was provided during breakfast by seven-time International Bluegrass Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year, Rhonda Vincent and her band The Rage.
