NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The former commander who produced controversial videos aboard the USS Enterprise is leaving the Navy.
The Navy said Captain Owen Honors is set to retire April 1.
Honors was removed from command for producing, airing, and appearing in raunchy videos on the Enterprise between Oct. 2005 and 2007. He was the ships executive officer at the time.
Honors said the videos were intended to boost morale.
