PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Hearing impaired children in Hampton Roads will get a chance to tell Santa their Christmas wishes in sign language when the Signing Santa visits the Ice Palace at MacArthur Center.
Signing Santa
Thursday, December 6th from 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.
30 Minute Reindeer Breaks at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Ice Palace - Center Court
MacArthur Center has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to bring the magic of feature films to deaf and hard-of-hearing children through on-screen sign language interpretation featuring deaf actors - which will debut at a private event for deaf and hard-of-hearing children on Thursday, December 6th at 10:00 a.m. These children will be the first to experience the new technology of sign language interpretation on-screen as well as tour the Ice Age Ice Palace and visit with Signing Santa.
