PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Its important to stay safe during the holidays and be careful when attending a holiday party. Here are a few tips to follow so you will not regret having too much fun at that holiday party.

Be mindful that there will be an increased police presence during the holidays.
If you're attending a party, before you even get dressed, figure out how you'll be getting home.
Connect with a Taxi or limosine service.
Make sure you consume food while drinking.
Don't act like a fool at your company's holiday office party.
