Madrigals to perform at the Olympics

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - The Madrigals, a select group of choral singers from Walsingham Academy are honored to perform at the Summer Games in London 2012. The Madrigals are a tightly structured group that requires strict discipline and finesse. The elite ensemble of 10th through12th graders are extremely committed to mastering the art of "a capella" singing from Medieval to present times.
Last year the group performed for the pope in Rome, Italy and in 2008 they sang at the Beijing Olympics.
