NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Pines of Rome is one of the most beautiful works of symphonic poetry composed in the 20th century.

The Virginia Symphony Orchestra will feature the work this weekend in performances across Hampton Roads.

Friday, Jan. 18 - 8 p.m.
Ferguson Center for the Arts - Newport News

Saturday, Jan. 19 - 8 p.m.
Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

Sunday, Jan. 20 - 2:30 p.m.
