Peninsula shipyard makes subs, aircraft carriers

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Roads is home to the largest naval installation in the world, so it's fitting the sole builder of the U.S. Navy's aircraft carriers is in the same area. It's one of two builders responsible for creating nuclear-powered submarines. Cheryl Tan went inside Huntington Ingalls' Newport News Shipbuilding to see how their subs are "Made in Hampton Roads."
