PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - The Raven Maria Blanco Foundation (RMBF) was started after the 2007 death of Raven Maria Blanco an 8-year-old Chesapeake resident who passed away in the dental office. RMBF was created in an effort to raise awareness about Medical Emergency Preparedness in the dental office through IMEP's Six Links of Survivalâ„¢ and also to provide resources to parents to know what questions to ask when selecting a dentist for their family. We provide the Top Six Questions and Dental Check-Lists as free downloads through our RMBF Kids website.
The networking event was started as a way to connect with businesses in the Hampton Roads Area, while providing an opportunity for RMBF Kids to raise awareness within the community in a positive setting.
