PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Shannon Kim knew at an early age that she wanted to become a doctor. Now, a fourth year med student at EVMS she shares her experience of what it was like to tag along with Operation Smile's surgical team to help families in need in Ecuador. Her rare opportunity made her this week's I Am Hampton Roads.
