NORFOLK, Va. (WVBT) - We're shining a light on Operation Smile. It's an internationally based charity organization helping kids heal, one smile at a time.
Dr. Bill Magee, his wife and countless volunteers are the driving force behind the transformation of lives across the globe.
Since its founding in 1982, Operation Smile has provided more than 2 million patient evaluations and conducted more than 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.
The company is also moving its headquarters to Virginia Beach.
