PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - The Alzheimer's Association Southeastern Virginia Chapte r , and YAAA! Hampton Roads is sponsoring several local events to help raise awareness for Alzheimer's.

Wednesday is Alzheimer's Action Day and to kick off the event you can join others at Cheeseburger in Paradise on Lynnhaven Pkwy in Virginia Beach from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be music, food and drinks. Don't forget to wear purple.

Join a team for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
