Thanksgiving closings for Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - City offices in Hampton will be closing in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The following will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23:
- City offices
- Libraries (closing at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21)
- Courts (closing at noon Wednesday, Nov. 21)
- Health Department and clinics (closing at noon Wednesday, Nov. 21)
- Social Services
- Hampton Teen Center
- Community Centers
- Air Power Park
- Treasurer’s office
- Commissioner of Revenue’s office
- Hampton schools (closing early Wednesday, Nov. 21)
The following will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22
- Hampton History Museum
- Hampton Visitor’s Center
The following will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, but will be open Friday, Nov. 23:
- Landfill
- Yard Waste Site
The following will remain open Thursday, Nov. 22:
- Golf Courses
- Parks
- Buckroe Fishing Pier
There will be no street sweeping on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
Any trash collections scheduled for Thursday will be made on Wednesday, Nov. 21. All other collections days will continue as normal.
