NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - The Peninsula Health District is offering H1N1 influenza vaccine to anyone who wants the vaccine at several locations during the week of January 25th.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Health Van: Walk-up to the district’s Health Van in the parking lot at the following locations. Additional sites may be added during the week. The van will be in other locations during February.

Tuesday, January 26th

There is no cost for the vaccine administered by the health department. Both nasal spray and injectable vaccines are available.
Preservative-free vaccines are available for pregnant women and for children 6 to 35 months of age.
The Peninsula Health District, other local health departments, pharmacies and other public vaccinators are posting H1N1 vaccine clinic information on the Flu Vaccine Locator powered by Google.
