Amdocs opens Monroe office

MONROE, La. (AP) — The power of having a Fortune 150 company headquarters in Monroe continues to be illustrated by the growing number of companies drawn here to serve CenturyLink.

The News-Star reports (http://tnsne.ws/YRnTr7 ) another technology company, Amdocs, opened a permanent office in Monroe this month to be near its client CenturyLink.

Amdocs, an international technology software company that serves the telecommunications industry, has now joined other companies like Huawei and IBM that have opened offices in Monroe.

Manuel Zepeda, Amdocs regional vice president, said CenturyLink chief executive and President Glen Post is encouraging companies with which CenturyLink does business to develop a presence in Monroe.

Amdocs will employ a full-time staff of five at its Monroe office.
