Jeremy Wheeler Visits Ruffner Middle School

Norfolk, VA - Meteorologist Jeremy Wheeler visited Ruffner Middle School in Norfolk late September to talk about weather.  He spoke in a large auditorium to a big group of students.  He used various media to show the kids how serious weather can be.  He started off with video of himself riding in Chopper 10 shortly after the Suffolk tornado.  This showed the potential destruction that storms can cause.  He covered what to do during severe weather to stay safe.  He also described what causes thunderstorms and severe weather.
