WAVY-TV’s 10 Who Care Awards recognize outstanding volunteerism in Hampton Roads -those unsung heroes who volunteer their time assisting senior citizens, children, the disadvantaged and the mentally ill; improving education, health care and the environment; expanding recreational, cultural activities and promoting safety.
The submission period is now closed.
Nominations were received from all over Hampton Roads. This year’s nominees represented a wide-range of community involvement.
The ten winners will be announced at a recognition luncheon on Thursday, November 19th at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Please check back that day for full biographies of our 10 Who Care Award winners.
