For 29 years this honoree has given more than 13,500 hours of volunteer time to Mary Immaculate Hospital - working everywhere from the information desk, to the concierge desk to the Wound Care Clinic and distributing the Blessed Sacrament to patients. She also serves numerous committees and has served as the Hampton Roads District Chair of the Virginia Association of Healthcare Auxiliaries and Volunteers. She is an active volunteer for her church St Jerome Catholic Church. She also volunteers at the Veterans Hospital and collects items and makes personal hygiene kits for homeless men and women in the PORT Winter Shleter Program in Newport News. This honoree is certainly not deferring or neglecting -- she is doing it now.
